I’m home. It was a long six weeks, but my life is changed. My blog will stay open but I won’t post much here anymore. Maybe reblog pictures when I miss it, and I’ll answer questions all the time, but wow. I’ll write a longer post later.
I had a great dinner last night, and now I have about 12 hours until I’m waiting in the airport in Nice for my flight to London, and then for my flight home! It’s been an amazing trip, but I’m so ready to be home!
I had to say goodbye to Alexandra, my teacher, today, and I definitely cried, and so did she. But I got her email and her phone number and I definitely plan to keep in contact. I’m just so emotional right now because I’m ready to leave but I’m not. Ah! This has been life changing.
Been in St. Tropez all day! The market was cool and I went to see the Citadel and that was cool but I wasn’t crazy impressed to be honest. It was beautiful but why it’s such a sought after destination is beyond me. Very crowded! Still fun day though. Did a ton of sleeping and laundry is tonight.
We got reassigned teachers today, but I got to keep my same one! Afternoon classes have officially ended as well. Nous allons a le musee du Picasso a Lundi. Tomorrow, we’re going paddle boating. I’m excited for that! Je suis aller a Grasse et St. Tropez!
I have no idea if any of that French is right, but it’s from memory so I’m getting better, at least! I don’t know any past tense, so yeah, I did okay I guess!
I’m so tired and I have blisters on my feet, but I had such a good time in Vienna with my friend Ute! I’ll be sad to say goodbye and leave tomorrow but it’ll be good to flop in Cannes and relax a bit.
Au revoir, Cannes. It’s been an adventure.
Had so much fun last night! Went out to a pub and it was fun! Just listened to live music and went home. Very relaxing. Definitely tired and I’m ready to be home!
Went to Grasse and made my own perfume yesterday!
One thing I will never understand is why there is NO AIR CONDITIONING HERE. It’s like Houston caliber humidity. I’m so drenched. Shower and then sleep for me, and back to classes tomorrow! Tons of new kids today so I’m moving up a level!
